The Panama City Beach Convention & Visitors Bureau continues to closely monitor the off-shore oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. Currently, there has been no projected landfall in Panama City Beach.

The Florida Department of Environmental Protection has established the website
www.dep.state.fl.us/deepwaterhorizon; Floridians and travelers to the destination should visit the site for official updates.

Panama City Beach CVB is in close contact with local, state and federal officials and will continue to advise tourism industry partners and area visitors on any new developments. Panama City Beach remains open for business.

The Panama City Beach Convention & Visitors Bureau is closely monitoring the status of the off-shore oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico and is in touch with local, state and federal officials on developments.  There has been no report of projected landfall in Panama City Beach to date and we will continue to watch the situation and advise our tourism industry partners and guests on any new developments.
In the meantime, however, Panama City Beach is open for business.
